I’m Shayan, a California-based photographer and videographer with a passion for visual storytelling and the outdoors. Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, but over a decade ago I decided to pursue it more intentionally, dedicating years to refining both the technical and creative sides of the craft through formal coursework, independent study, and hands-on experience.

What began with photography naturally evolved into travel filmmaking and eventually commercial work, combining my love for adventure with a focus on creating compelling visual content. Whether I’m documenting landscapes, capturing human moments, or producing cinematic brand stories, I’m always driven by the same goal: creating work that feels authentic, immersive, and intentional.

Outside of photography and filmmaking, I spend much of my time exploring the outdoors through backpacking, hiking, and snowboarding. I’m constantly learning, creating, and looking for new ways to tell meaningful stories through visuals.
